Manager Grant McCann and captain Tommy Rowe have said the supporters have a huge part to play at Saturday’s crunch match vs Coventry City.

Rovers must match seventh-placed Peterborough United’s result to guarantee a place in the Sky Bet League One play-offs and both McCann and Rowe believe that the support of the fans will help the side get over the line.

Rowe said: “The fans can play a massive part for us at the weekend, last Saturday at Oxford, we managed to get a 2-2 draw there and the fans who were there really drove us on to get what we needed out of it.

“It’ll be a great atmosphere, as it has been at home for much of this season, the last day of the season is always a great occasion, hopefully it’ll be a happy day for us and we’re celebrating getting the job done, but that’ll be all down to us on the day.”

McCann added: “The fans have been brilliant for us all season. We need them all behind us at the weekend because when they are behind us, when the fans are bouncing, the Keepmoat Stadium is an intimidating place to play.

“The players love the support and the more fans we can get to our games, the better chance that will give us to achieve our goal.

“We need them right behind us and the players will give them everything they have."

Saturday is your last chance to be the difference in the play-off push! Join us at the Keepmoat Stadium to help get the lads over the line. Tickets are available at the Club Doncaster Box Office, online at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk and via telephone on 01302 764664.
