Rovers’ fans are being asked to donate just one more time as DRFCFans4Foodbanks host the final collection of the season.
The team will be in their usual place near the Belle Vue bar from 4pm until 5.15pm ahead of Saturday’s match against Coventry City. Donations have been exceptional so far and have surpassed last year’s impressive total with around 1.7 tonnes of food collected alongside monetary donations of £650.
If every person attending the match on Saturday bought just one item to donate, it will make a massive difference to the lives of people in Doncaster.
All donations are taken to the DN7 foodbank at Stainforth and suggested items are as follows:
Food items – Cereal, Soup, Pasta, Rice, Pasta sauce, Beans, Tinned meat, Tinned vegetables,
Tea/coffee, Tinned fruit, Biscuits
Toiletries – deodorant, toilet paper, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste, hand wipes
Household items – laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid.
Feminine products – sanitary towels and tampons
Baby supplies – nappies, baby wipes and baby food. (Please note, due to advice from UNICEF they cannot accept formula milk.)
Saturday is your last chance to be the difference in the play-off push! Join us at the Keepmoat Stadium to help get the lads over the line. Tickets are available at the Club Doncaster Box Office, online at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk and via telephone on 01302 764664.
