Rovers manager Grant McCann says his side have everything to play for as they head into the second leg of their Sky Bet League One play-off against Charlton Athletic on Friday.

Rovers are 2-1 down in the two-legged semi-final, but there is a real belief in the camp that they can give the travelling fans something to cheer about at The Valley.

“We are right in this tie, it is half-time and we are one goal down so there is everything to play for,” said McCann.

“I don’t want anyone think we are content with where we are, we have every respect for Charlton but we’re the last team to win there in November and we’re going to give everything to try and repeat that.”

Rovers supporters have backed the team in good numbers this season, and are expected to have one of their largest followings of the campaign in the capital.

“The fans have been brilliant with us this season, at away games they’ve been there in numbers and made plenty of noise which can really help. Every single person going down on Friday has a role to play in helping us in the match,” added McCann.

“There are times we will need encouragement and times we will need patience, our supporters have been there come what main all season. That is really appreciated by everyone at the club and we will give everything we can in return.”

Tickets for Friday’s game are available from the Club Doncaster Box Office. Secure your place at The Valley now by calling 01302 762576 or going to tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk
