Oliver Langford will be the man in charge when Rovers host Charlton Athletic in the home leg of the Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final on May 12.

Langford is a very experienced official having overseen his first EFL League match in August 2008. In that game, he oversaw a 3-1 home victory for Rochdale over Barnet.

The first time Langford officiated a Rovers match was in 2011. Rovers won that match 1-0 at home to Burnley. The following season, he took charge of two Rovers matches – a 3-0 away defeat at Derby County and a 0-0 home draw with Cardiff.

Most recently, the man from the West Midlands took charge of Rovers home defeat to Plymouth Argyle in March 2017.

Langford has taken charge of 35 games in the current campaign – mostly in the Championship – awarding 107 yellow cards and six reds. The most cards he has awarded in a single match is nine comprising of seven yellows and two reds – this was a Championship match which Reading won 2-0 at home over Nottingham Forest.

Langford will be assisted by Jonathan Hunt and Sam Lewis. The fourth official is Geoff Eltringham.

Tickets can be bought online at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk, in person via the Club Doncaster Box Office in person or via phone on 01302 762576. Bronze Memberships, which would allow purchase of tickets at the second stage of sale, are still available for just £10.
