Can you help those affected by flooding?

12 November 2019

Rovers supporters are invited to help those affected by flooding in the area to use the Keepmoat Stadium as a drop-off point for items donated to help with the clean up.

The ground is already used as a foodbank drop-off point, but there is specific need for cleaning items following the devastating floods.

Chief executive Gavin Baldwin said: “We have staff who live in the areas affected by flooding and we know a number of our supporters have been impacted by it, we want them to know everyone at the club is thinking of them.

“Our staff wanted to do something to help and we feel this is one of the best ways for us to do that, we’ve had staff reach out to Doncaster Council and the existing foodbanks to make sure we’re making the most useful contribution.

”Because of the urgent need for these items we’d encourage anyone who is looking to donate to drop them off as soon as possible so we can pass them on to those in need.”

Drop-off points for this appeal are any reception area at the Keepmoat Stadium, or the Club Doncaster Box Office.

Items that are in particular need are clothes and cleaning items, as well as wellies, shovels, bread, cheese and instant coffee.
