Darren Moore says Rovers will be going up against a well-organised Burton Albion side in Sky Bet League One this weekend.

The Brewers have lost just twice away from home this season, and Moore believes his side will have to work hard to break them down.

He said: “They’ve got an excellent away record and that comes from the hard work they put in and their fitness levels on show each week.

“They understand their roles and responsibilities on the pitch, they have a very experienced manager and he will demand that from them.

“It’s no surprised they are good on the road in this division, and as a club they are a solid League One outfit.”

Having had last weekend’s fixture at Tranmere Rovers postponed, Moore says Rovers are still working towards the levels of consistency he expects from them.

He added: “Momentum and consistency are the words we’re using a lot on the training ground, which has been hard with us having a few games called off.

“Hopefully now we can get some continuity now and that starts with the Burton game, it’s the start of a new month and we want to get three points under our belt.

“I feel we’re getting closer to where we want to be, things are settling down and now we’re looking for a high level of performance each week.”
