Darren Moore says Rovers will have to win their individual battles to overcome top of the table Wycombe Wanderers this weekend.

The Chairboys are unbeaten at home in the league so far this season, but Moore says his side travel to Adams Park confident of getting the win.

He said: “We will just focus on what we’re about, Adams Park is a tough place to go but it is a challenge that we’re looking forward to.

“We know our performance will have to be good and there will be plenty of questions asked that we need to answer.

“Individual battles all over the pitch will be key to us winning the game, if we can get the better of them then hopefully we can claim all three points.”

As Moore prepares to go up against another young British manager in Gareth Ainsworth, he says he has been impressed with the work being done by his opposite number.

He added: “Gareth has built a really good squad and developed a style of play where everything is coming together for them.

They deserve to be top of the table because they’ve played the most effective and consistent football so far.

“He is a young British manager who is showing what he can do at this level and I look forward to seeing him.”
