Saturday's match to mark Remembrance Day

1 November 2019

Saturday’s fixture against Burton Albion is our closest home match to Armistice Day, we will therefore be taking the opportunity to honour the servicemen and women who have lost their lives in conflict.

The players of both sides will be lead out by a standard bearer from the Royal British Legion and a representative from the club and the Official Supporters Club will lay wreaths in the centre of the pitch.

Both sides will then observe two minutes silence of which will begin with the playing of The Last Post and end with the Reveille.

Rovers players will be wearing black armbands adorning the Poppy emblem throughout the match.

Volunteers from the Royal British Legion will be holding a bucket collection around the ground.
