Rovers player Matty Blair surprised lifelong supporter Ada Ryan by stopping by to wish her a happy 94th birthday this week.
Ada, who is a resident at the Old Rectory care home in Armthorpe, is no longer able to attend games but keeps up to date with matches with the help of her children John, Phil and Janet.
Matty stopped by to drop of a card signed by the first-team squad and wish Ada all the best for her birthday which is on Saturday.
Ada’s only request for a birthday gift was for Rovers to get all three points from the game at Oxford on her birthday itself.
