The EFL Youth Alliance Cup campaign continues for the U18s who head to Carlisle on Saturday.
Rovers have had a mixed bag of fortunes in the group stage so far, beating Rotherham United before losing 6-3 to Mansfield.
They begin the first of their two away trips in the group at Carlisle United – who sit in sixth place out of 13 in the North West Division after winning three of their opening seven games.
So far in the 2019/20 season Rovers’ U18s boast 100% winning record away from home and will be hoping to maintain that this weekend after the 290-mile round trip.
Carlisle occupy bottom spot of their group after losing their two opening games against Fleetwood and Rotherham.
