Darren Moore said that new structures are being put in place to better support Rovers' Professional Development Pathway (U23s).
The U23s provide the link between Rovers Academy and the first team, and Moore believes the changes will help create a stronger pathway from the Foundation Phase to the first team.
He said: “We had a meeting about the U23s – they’ve been given a new programme and structure that we believe will make them more competitive.
“We feel proud of the programme we’ve put together because the U23s are an important group and we’ve got one or two really good players in there - this session plan will help bring them all on and get them nearer to the first team."
