Neil Hair will be the man in charge when Rovers host Burton Albion at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday.

Hair was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2018 after a very good season in the National League which saw him awarded the honour of overseeing the Football Conference Play-Off final at Wembley Stadium.

He officiated 30 matches in the 2018/19 season across Sky Bet League One, League Two, and the Emirates FA Cup. In that campaign he awarded 102 yellow cards and seven reds.

He has awarded 30 yellow cards and one red card across ten matches in the current campaign. A good chunk of these were handed out last Saturday in a League One match between Rotherham United and Wycombe Wanderers where he saw fit to book seven players in total.

Hair has taken charge of just one Rovers match so far in his career – a 3-1 away win at Gillingham in December 2018.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Thomas Harty and Christopher Husband. Simon Mather will be the fourth official.
