Alan Young will be the man in charge when Rovers host Manchester United U21s in the Leasing.com Trophy on Tuesday evening.
Young was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2018.
This will be the third time Young has taken charge of a Rovers match. The first was in December 2018 – a 2-2 home draw against Oxford United and he was also the man in charge when Rovers drew 1-1 with Portsmouth away at Fratton Park.
He has taken charged of 13 matches in the current campaign including three Leasing.com Trophy matches. He has awarded 53 yellow cards and two reds.
Young will be assisted by David Avent and Declan Ford. The fourth official will be Andrew Miller.
