Officials confirmed for Oxford United

10 October 2019

Seb Stockbridge will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.

Stockbridge took charge of two Rovers matches last season, both of which were at the Keepmoat Stadium. Rovers won the first of these 2-0 against Blackpool but lost to Accrington Stanley on Easter Monday.

The Tyne-based official is very experienced and took charge of his first EFL Match in April 2013. He first oversaw a Rovers match in October 2014, a game which saw Rovers beat local rivals Scunthorpe United 2-1 at Glanford Park.

Stockbridge has taken charge of ten matches in the current campaign handing out 32 yellow cards and two reds. Both of the red cards came in the same match – a 1-0 home win for Wycombe Wanderers over Portsmouth.

He will be assisted by Andrew Williams and Simon Shaw. The fourth official is Paul Hobday.
