Rovers U15s have had a positive start to the season as they continue to progress within the Youth Development Phase.
The side faced Mansfield Town at Cantley Park on Sunday and displayed excellent ability both in possession and when creating chances. The side follow in the footsteps of the U18s, U23s and first team in their ability to get the ball down and pass and have adapted to the higher standard of U15s football well.
The U15 season is an important one as it is the point where players begin transitioning from scheduled friendlies to a competitive league.
In Saturday's match, Rovers created chances, were solid defensively, and scored some impressive goals and coach Don McKinna was pleased with his side’s performance in difficult circumstances and torrential rain.
