Tranmere Rovers have confirmed that a pitch inspection will take place at approximately 9:15am on Saturday morning ahead of our Sky Bet League One match at Prenton Park.
With heavy rain forecast for Friday night and Saturday morning - and with no sign of change - Tranmere have taken the decision to conduct an inspection as early as possible.
We will provide an update via our website and social media channels as soon as possible once the inspection has taken place.
