Wear your retro Rovers shirts on Saturday to help us celebrate the club’s 140th anniversary
On October 3 1879, Doncaster Rovers played their first football match, a friendly at Rawmarsh which ended in a 0-0 draw. To celebrate, the club will be running a number of activities at Saturday’s match against Portsmouth including asking fans to wear retro Rovers shirts.
Dig out your favourite Rovers shirt or your first shirt, find an old scarf or a favourite pin badge and help us celebrate 140 years of history on Saturday.
