All four Rovers players out on loan – Cody Prior, Rieves Boocock, Branden Horton and Myron Gibbons - featured for their sides this weekend.
Prior and Boocock both started for Frickley Athletic in their match against Carlton Town. Boocock’s brace gave the side a two goal lead at half-time but Frickley were unable to hang on, conceding three in the second half. Despite the result, Boocock was selected as the fan’s man of the match with a massive 80% of the vote.
Branden Horton also got on the scoresheet on his first outing for Gainsborough Trinity. He came on at half-time when the team were already trailing 3-0 and scored just ten minutes later. Unfortunately, Gainsborough weren’t able to mount a comeback and went on to lose 4-2.
Myron Gibbons featured for Bradford Park Avenue coming off the bench in the 65th minute. It was a good performance from Bradford but a 77th minute goal sealed a 3-2 defeat.
