Mansfield U18s return to Cantley Park on Saturday September 21, a week after defeating Rovers in the Youth Alliance Cup.
Despite the loss for Paul Stancliffe’s side, the team still scored three goals with Charlie Bell, Lirak Hasani and Will McGowan all finding the back of the net with other efforts coming agonisingly close for the youth team.
The U18s have undergone a gruelling week of training with Stancliffe and his coaching team looking for a reaction.
Rovers remain top of their division having lost only one of five games this term. They also remain joint top goal scorers in the league with Rotherham.
Mansfield have only lost one game this season in the league but have dropped points against Lincoln City and Chesterfield which leaves them three places behind Rovers.
Kick-off is at 11am with entry free to Cantley Park for spectators.
