Darren Moore is expecting an entertaining encounter when Rovers take on Rotherham United this weekend.
The Millers travel to the Keepmoat Stadium for the first South Yorkshire derby of the season, and Moore says his side are well prepared.
He said: “They are a good team and have a lot of players in their squad who have played at this level for a long time.
“Paul knows the club and has been the manager for a while now, he understands the division having won promotion out of it before.
“I know that the game means a lot for both teams and fortunately for us we’ve had the league game against Lincoln to get us used to that type of atmosphere.”
After an unbeaten start to the league campaign, Moore believes Rovers still have plenty of improvements to work on.
He added: “I think we’ve managed ourselves quite well and I think the football club itself deserves credit for dealing with things that have happened.
“It’s been stop-start between games but we’ve used that to our advantage and put together some good performances.
“Hopefully from Saturday onwards we can start to find that continuity knowing that we will be playing games on a more regular basis.”
