Officials confirmed for Rotherham match

Martin Coy is the man in-charge when Rovers host Rotherham United at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday.

2019/20 marks Coy’s third campaign on the National List of Referees. In his debut season, he took charge of 34 games, issuing 69 yellow cards and three reds. So far in this campaign.

Coy took charge of three Rovers matches last season, all of which resulted in victory. These were a 2-1 home win over Bradford, an emphatic 5-0 victory over Rochdale on New Year’s Day, and a 4-1 home victory over Bristol Rovers in March.

He’s taken charge of three games this season: a draw between Blackpool and Macclesfield in the Carabao Cup. A draw between Peterborough and Ipswich in Sky Bet League One and a 1-0 win for Coventry City over Gillingham. He’s awarded 11 yellows this season and no reds.

Coy will be assisted by Paul Newhouse, and Matthew Parry. The fourth official is James Bell.
