Darren Moore believes his Rovers side still have a lot of improvement in them as they look to build on their impressive start to the season.

Rovers are yet to taste defeat in Sky Bet League One heading into Tuesday’s clash with Blackpool, but the manager says he is still looking for more.

He said: “As a group we’re working hard to keep getting better, we must continue to show that and look to pick up more good results.

“We’re still developing as a team, any points you get in this division are good ones because there are some very good teams at this level.

“No targets have been set but we look to get the most out of the squad and we know if we perform well then the result will be there.”

Just a point separates the two teams in the table heading into the game, and Moore is expecting a reaction from Blackpool after their defeat to MK Dons last time out.

He added: “They are another team that started the season really well, Simon has brought some good players in and have a lot of experience in there.

“The type of players they’ve brought in shows the direction they want to go in, and they will be looking for a reaction after a defeat at the weekend.”
