Jack Watson’s stunning effort against Burton Albion U18s has been nominated for the LFE August goal of the month.
There was something of the “James Coppinger” about Watson’s finish – the striker found himself with a yard of space at the edge of the box and curled a sublime effort beyond the Albion stopper.
It was one of four that Watson scored that day on what was an unstoppable afternoon for the 17-year-old.
