The Foundation's Football Welcomes project has been providing football and social activities for people seeking asylum and refugees in Doncaster for over two years.
The project which began as simply providing provisions for young men seeking asylum to have a kick about on a Friday afternoon has grown and grown and now provides a truly important service.
The project now has large numbers of participants across two evenings (one an informal kick about the second a more formal training session) - the footballers have been invited to Rovers matches, have met first-team players, and have played in matches against other teams from Leicester.
