Rovers sealed promotion back to Sky Bet League One on April 8 2017 - and to mark the anniversary the club are releasing a gallery of never-before-seen images from the day.
Tommy Rowe’s header sealed a 1-0 win over Mansfield Town - a Stags side that included current Rovers captain Ben Whiteman - which ensured Darren Ferguson’s men returned to the third tier at the first time of asking.
Rovers players celebrated in the changing room before returning to the pitch for a lap of honour in front of supporters.
