Danny Amos has been called up to the Northern Irish U21s squad for their UEFA European Championship qualifiers against Malta and Denmark in September.
The 19-year-old will join up with Andy Crosby’s 22-man squad meaning he will miss Rovers’ EFL Trophy tie against Bradford City on Tuesday September 8.
Amos signed a new deal with Rovers earlier this summer after impressing in the first-team just before the season came to a halt.
