Rovers will host MK Dons on the first day of the season and will finish the season by hosting Peterborough United as the 2020/21 fixtures are released.
James Coppinger's final match for the club will be at home against Peterborough United and it is sure to be a fantastic occasion.
But there are plenty of matches for Rovers fans to get excited about this season with home fixtures against local sides Hull City on December 1 (away) and February 20 (home) and Lincoln City on October 31 (home) January 30 (away).
The festive period will include trips to Fleetwood Town and Peterborough United but for the first time since 2017 Rovers are home on Boxing Day and will welcome Accrington Stanley to the Keepmoat Stadium.
Other eye-catching fixtures include last season’s Sky Bet League Two champions Swindon Town. Rovers haven’t faced the side managed by Rovers Hall of Famer Richie Wellens since 2016.
