Rovers’ away kit goes back to black with a newly launched design for the 2020/21 season.
The design retains the traditional Rovers hoops and strong, sleek lines of the home shirt, but in a blend of black, charcoal and dark grey which are complimented by the monochrome club badge.
The grey and black hoops also show off the white LNER, Doncaster College and Stoneacre logos to create a striking contrast.
This bold shirt is paired with black shorts and socks to create a dramatic, modern strip.
James Coppinger said: “We took part in the photoshoot for the new away kit on Monday which was the first time we’d really seen the away kit but we were all commenting on how nice it is.
“The design is fantastic and the monochrome badge is a new one for us - the fit is really good too and it’s comfortable to play in. We’re all looking forward to wearing it in a match now.”
Shaun Lockwood added: “It’s well known that money in football is limited at the moment and the kits offer an opportunity to bring in some much needed revenue at a difficult time for the club, that is why we’re delighted to be bringing fans such a fantastic away shirt this season.
“The reaction from the training ground has been great and it’s clear the players are really excited to wear it - we hope the supporters will be too.”
