Tom Anderson says he’s enjoying his football as he approaches his third anniversary as a Rovers player.
The central defender has become an integral part of the team since arriving initially on loan from Premier League side Burnley in 2018, before making a permanent switch a few months later.
He said: “When I first came I wasn’t playing and it can be hard to get a run of performances going, so I’m pleased to be in the team most weeks now.
“The three years have gone very quickly, I’ve loved it here and developed a lot as a player since I first signed.
“Having said that I still feel I’ve got a lot of improvement in me, but I’m feeling good about my own game at present.”
Rovers face Gillingham in Sky Bet League One this weekend having only lost one of their previous six outings.
Anderson added: “We’re on a decent run apart from the Hull game, it’s come at a good time of the season and hopefully we can keep that going.
“It’s tough but we’re here to play games and we have to get on with things because we’re lucky to be doing what we do.
“We’ve got great togetherness within the squad, we all get on and if we keep taking it game by game then we’ll be in a good position.”
