Rovers suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of well-organised Shrewsbury Town as their four game winning run came to an end.
Fejiri Okenabirhie looked to have given Rovers the lead on the tenth minute but was denied by the assistant referee's flag and - despite a dominant half - Rovers were unable to hit the back of the net again.
The Shrews took the lead when Aaron Pierre headed in at the back post from a free-kick eight minutes into the second half and Darren Moore's men were unable to breakdown the defensive lines.
