Tyreece John-Jules says he’s keen to make up for lost time after making his return from injury for Rovers.
The Arsenal loanee came on against Carlisle United on Sunday after almost two months out, and says he’s ready to hit the ground running.
He said: “It’s been very tough missing out on a lot of games but there are more coming up now and hopefully I can get some minutes.
“I was just getting into the flow of things and connecting with my team-mates, it’s time to pick that back up now.
“I thought I did well before the injury and managed to get myself a goal, so I know I’m capable of doing it at this level.”
With Hull City the next test for Rovers in Sky Bet League One, John-Jules is looking forward to playing his part as the fixtures continue to come thick and fast.
He added: “It’s going to be very interesting in the next few weeks with so many games, hopefully we can get the results that we want.
“Hull are at the top of the league and these are the games you want to test yourself in throughout the season.
“Playing against the better teams has brought out the best in us so we’re looking to continue that against Hull.”
