Darren Moore felt his side showed good professionalism to earn a 3-1 victory at Burton Albion in Sky Bet League One.
Goals from Fejiri Okenabirhie, Ben Whiteman and Taylor Richards sealed the three points for Rovers at the Pirelli Stadium.
Moore said: “It was a professional performance which allowed us to continue the good form we’ve been on recently.
“We responded really well to them getting back in the game, it meant that we could control things in the second-half.
“You always want to score first and we did that, I was pleased because it was a good team move and a smart finish by Fejiri.”
While there were areas the manager felt could be improved from the performance, he was pleased to see his players find a way to make it four straight league wins.
He added: “There were parts I enjoyed and others I felt we could have been better at, we missed some opportunities to increase our lead.
“Overall I have to be pleased with the three points, and to get three goals away from home is really good.
“It’s important to be able to find different ways of winning games, the players seem to have that in their locker.”
