Moore looking forward to Hull clash

2 December 2020

Darren Moore is looking forward to an entertaining game when Rovers take on Hull City in Sky Bet League One.

Moore’s side travel to the KCOM Stadium unbeaten in their past four league games, and says they are confident of extending that run.

He said: “Hull have been doing really well and they’re top of the league so it will be a good game for us to test ourselves.

“There will be two teams who are full of confidence and both will look to play football in the right way.

“Grant was obviously the manager here but I’d like to think since I’ve come in I’ve put my own ideas in place on how I want to play.”

The game against Hull is the third time Rovers have gone up against a team occupying top spot in the table this season, with them winning the last two against Ipswich Town and Lincoln City respectively.

Moore added: “You expect a club of Hull’s size to be right up there in the division, they have assembled a good squad but we have to focus on what we’re good at.

“We plan the same for every team and we’ve managed to pick up some good results against the teams at the top end of the table.

“Sometimes it’s just the way these games ebb and flow and when you’re coming up against these teams you have to take your chances.”
