Darren Moore says his side are preparing to face a Gillingham side that are full of confidence this weekend.
The Gills haven’t tasted defeat in the league since the end of October, while Rovers have only lost one of their past six games.
He said: “They’ve found their feet and the league is now taking a bit more shape, they have an experienced manager who knows his way around the league.
“I would imagine confidence is high down there, they’ve picked up some good results after finding them hard to come by at the start of the campaign.
“It’s probably two teams with contrasting styles that go up against each other, and we’ve both been on a decent run recently.”
After having a full week to work with his players due to no midweek fixture, the manager has been pleased to see the freshness within the squad.
He added: “It’s been really beneficial to have a full week without a game, it’s allowed us to get players back to full fitness.
“The players have come back in and looked fresh, we’ll keep getting the work into them ahead of the weekend.”
