Moore: Swindon better than form suggests

Darren Moore feels Swindon Town have been performing better than their form suggests ahead of their trip to the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Robins have lost their previous three games in Sky Bet League One, but the manager is taking nothing for granted heading into Tuesday night’s game.

He said: “If you look at their recent results they’ve been unfortunate to lose the games they have, they’re playing some good football and playing on the front foot.

“They might not be getting the rub of the green at present and lapses in concentration are hurting them, but they’ve been better than their form suggests.

“John Sheridan has taken over and has a good squad to work with, he’ll be starting to stamp his authority on them.”

With two of the next three games at home, Moore says his side will have to come through some more tough tests to pick up more victories.

He added: “Every game that we’ve won has been difficult and presented hurdles that we’ve had to overcome, it’s a very competitive league.

“From top to bottom there are some really good teams and some of the results recently shows that.”
