Officials confirmed for Hull City

1 December 2020

Chris Pollard will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Hull City on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2019 after 11 years of refereeing. Before making the step to the EFL he was overseeing both National League and Premier League 2 matches.

Wednesday will mark the seventh time that Pollard has overseen a Sky Bet League One match and the first time he has taken charge of a game involving either Rovers or Hull.

So far this season, Pollard has overseen nine matches handing out 35 yellow cards and three reds. Two of those red cards came in Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup clash between Shrewsbury Town and Oxford City.

On Wednesday, he will be assisted by Alan Clayton and Matthew Smith. Andrew Miller will be the fourth official.
