Jon Taylor says he’s enjoyed being back on the pitch recently after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The winger has come off the bench in Rovers’ last two league games, and says he had been desperate to return following five weeks on the sidelines.
He said: “It was really good to be back out on the field, nobody enjoys being injured so to get some minutes felt great.
“I had a bit of a setback which was tough to deal with, but I’ve trained for a week and got on in consecutive games.
“In the games I’ve come on we’ve been winning so it’s given me an opportunity to run at tiring defences.”
Heading into this weekend’s game at Burton Albion, Rovers have lost just one of their previous eight league games.
Taylor added: “We’re doing well and playing good football but we’re only a third of the way through the season so we’re taking it one game at a time.
“We analyse every team in and out of possession and treat them with respect, we don’t look at where they are in the table, just how they play their football.”
