Devante Cole believes he is settling in well at Rovers after completing his first week with the club.
The striker was the first signing to join in January putting pen to paper on a short term deal until the end of the season.
“It’s been a good first few days,” said Cole.
“I didn’t have any expectations of it but everyone has been welcome and it’s nice to walk into somewhere that’s like that.
“I’m here until the end of the season and I’ve come into a group that are doing well and hopefully we’ll be right up there challenging at the end of the season.”
Cole has said that manager Darren Moore was the main factor in persuading him to make a move to South Yorkshire.
“I met the manager a few days, and I liked what he had to say and what he told me about the team. I looked to see where they were in the table and I’ve seen them playing and they play good football so it’s a good position to come in to,” Cole added.
“There are a few parts of my game that I need to develop and that’s why I’ve come here to play for a manager like Darren Moore. He’s been at the that level for a long time and he’s told me things about my game that I can improve and there are things I can do to get be back to that level.
“There are little things that need tweaking but he’s said he believes in me and that’s a big thing. If you go anywhere you want the manager’s backing and I’ve had that massively and he knows what he’s talking about so that’s good for me.”
