On Saturday, John Nicholson became the 26th Rovers player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The club is currently celebrating its 140th anniversary and as part of the celebrations, supporters have been voting their standout player from each of the club’s 14 decades.

John Nicholson won a close vote to decide the best player of the 1960s and his son and daughter were in attendance on Saturday to accept the certificate and see their father inducted into the Hall of Fame.
