Andy Woolmer will be the man in the middle when Rovers travel to take on Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League One this weekend.
The Northamptonshire based official has been refereeing in the EFL since the 2004/05 campaign, and has overseen games in the Championship down to League Two this season.
His last game in charge of a Rovers match was the 2-0 defeat at Sunderland in April 2019.
So far this season, he has handed out 72 yellow cards and three reds in 27 games.
Woolmer will be assisted by Matt Foley and Robert Merchant. The fourth official is Ollie Williams.
