Leigh Doughty will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Prenton Park to face Tranmere Rovers.
Doughty was due to oversee the original fixture which was called off due to heavy rainfall making the pitch unplayable.
Doughty was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer following a successful season in the National League. He was rewarded for a good season by taking charge of Salford City's penalty shoot-out win over Eastleigh in the play-off semi-final.
Tuesday’s encounter will be the sixth Sky Bet League One match that Doughty has overseen, the most recent of these was Rotherham’s 3-0 win over Bristol Rovers on January 18.
Doughty has overseen a total of 22 matches in the current campaign handing out 62 yellow cards and two reds.
Doughty will be assisted by Wade Smith and Conor Brown. The fourth official will be Jon Kenny.
