Rovers players take part in half-term activities

19 February 2020

School is out for half-term… and the Rovers squad have taken full advantage to join young fans for a range of fun activities.

Skipper Ben Whiteman was joined by Tom Anderson and Jon Taylor at the Rovers140 hub in the Frenchgate centre, where they challenged fans on the table football as well as handing out signed copies of DNA Quarterly magazine, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Other members of the first-team squad went ten pin bowling with Donny Dog and members of Junior Rovers, they got to challenge their favourite players to a game.

There is plenty more going on at the Rovers140 hub in Frenchgate during half-term week, with Doncaster Rovers Belles manager Andy Butler joining members of his playing squad from 12noon on Wednesday to discuss the team ahead of the evening fixture against Long Eaton United.

And on Thursday morning Donny Dog will be visiting from 10:30-11:30am to meet all his young friends.

The Rovers140 hub is situated in Frenchgate on the upper mall, opposite New Look and River Island.
