Sedburgh School join with Club Doncaster for stadium tidy up

25 February 2020

Students and staff from Sedbergh School undertook a full day of work which included the pupils from Evans House helping to keep the surrounding area to the Keepmoat Stadium tidy.

The students litter picked and helped maintain the shrubbery that surrounds the Club Doncaster Sports Park. After helping at the stadium, they joined with Doncaster Council to support the clean-up following flooding in the borough.

Headmaster Dan Harrison said: “I am very proud of the way that we gave back as a school. To have 9 different projects all around the North, helping out a variety of organisations is the right thing to do.”

Head of stadium operations Marie Hepburn added: “I think it’s fantastic that the students chose to travel over to Doncaster to carry out their voluntary projects. They worked really hard on the day and make a really positive impact on our community.  We hope this is the beginning of a great partnership with the school.”
