Rovers have completed the signing of striker Devante Cole from Sky Bet Championship side Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old joins the club initially on a deal until the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Cole has plenty of experience at Sky Bet League One level, having spent time with Fleetwood Town and Bradford City in the past.
After spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell, Cole arrives in time for two league games in the space of five days.
