If you had brand new football boots, trainers or astro trainers for Christmas, then why not donate your old boots to the Club Doncaster Boot Drive on January 18?
Doncaster Rovers, Club Doncaster Foundation, and Fit Rovers will be collecting unwanted an unused boots to be donated to the Football Welcomes project and – if we receive enough – to other Foundation projects.
Club Doncaster official partners Ellgia have donated a bin for us to collect the boots in, so look out for our Fit Rovers participants and a bright green Ellgia bin near to the Fans for Foodbank collection on Saturday to make your donations.
Donations of boots of any size will be greatly appreciated by the Foundation and Football Welcomes.
Football Welcomes aims to provide opportunities for people seeking asylum in Doncaster. For someone who has fled a war-torn country or been forced to leave their home and belongings behind and settle in a new place without being allowed to take a job, the opportunity to be involved in football is massive. What to you might be the donation of one pair of used football boots, is so much more to DCC United. A pair of boots allows a player to take part in training and games safely, build a social life, and feel welcomed into a new society and our football family.
