Niall Ennis’ return to the Rovers side in recent weeks has been a big boost for manager Darren Moore as the Sky Bet League One season continues to evolve.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee missed six weeks with a hamstring injury, with his absence felt as the fixtures started to come thick and fast.
“It’s good to be back involved now and I want to be playing as much as possible now, with games coming thick and fast that will help me,” he says.
“I’ve been missing games so now I’m focused on getting as much game-time as I can and showing what I can do.
“No player wants to be watching from the stands, it’s all about getting involved and being around the team.”
“Hopefully now after a couple of positive results we can kick on and push up the table with the games in hand available to us.”
