Madger Gomes has had to be patient for a run in the Rovers midfield but has proven his versatility and reliability when called upon.
The Spaniard has been deployed right across the midfield in his six months at the club, and has proved himself a valuable member of the squad as the season has progressed.
“I feel I have done well but I want to play more, but that is the manager’s decision and all I can do is give my best when I get an opportunity,” he said.
“The aim for me is to keep improving, I try to take on board everything he asks of him and continue to learn as the season progresses.
“I enjoyed being in the team over Christmas and I treated every game like it was a final because I knew I had to do well.
“However I’m involved whether that’s from the start or off the bench, the aim is always to give my all for the team.”
