Jacob Ramsey is looking forward to testing himself in senior football after an impressive opening half of the season for Aston Villa’s U23 side.
The midfielder has scored seven goals and been a regular creator of goals, and made two appearances of the bench for the first-team.
He said: “I’ve had a good record in the U23s - playing 16 times, scoring seven goals and getting seven assists.
“I’m a bit of a playmaker, I like a shot but do love a tackle as well.”
Ramsey is confident of making the step up to senior level, building on his outings for Villa against Brighton and Fulham this term.
He added: “I spoke to the gaffer and it seemed a perfect fit for me, we’re in a good position in the league looking for promotion.
“Villa want me to gain experience, and this will be a good opportunity for me.”
