Red Viking Rail offer huge boost to youth football in Doncaster by sponsoring Rovers Academy for the next two years.
The company have been front of shirt sponsors for the U18s for many years, but have now expanded their sponsorship to cover the Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase in a huge boost for the Academy’s stars of the future.
Red Viking Rail director and life-long Rovers fan Kevin Baker said he is keen to do his bit to support the Academy with the club’s youth football currently centre stage as they benefit from supporters waiving their refunds via the In Rovers Supporters We Trust campaign.
He said: “For many years I have really admired the whole ethos of the club and with Darren Moore in charge I am looking forward to seeing the club go from strength to strength.
“Thankfully, COVID-19 hasn’t significantly impacted on Red Viking Rail operations, unlike many others, so I really wanted to extend my support to help the development of young talent in Doncaster.
"Who knows, these players may become the next Alick Jeffrey or James Coppinger.”
Based in Doncaster but operating throughout the UK, Red Viking Rail is a RISQS-audited business operating on the rail infrastructure where they undertake a variety of building and civil engineering works.
