Rover of the Day: Brad Halliday

10 July 2020

Brad Halliday born July 10, 1995.

Brad began his career with Middlesbrough and gained Football League experience via loan spells at York City, Hartlepool United and Accrington Stanley.

In August 2016 he joined Cambridge United and quickly established a reputation as one of the best full-backs in League Two. After three seasons and over 100 League games he left the Abbey Stadium to join Rovers in July 2019, one of Grant McCann’s final acts before departing for Hull City.

Under Darren Moore Brad became an integral part of the Rovers team, not missing a minute of League action and featuring in all 42 senior matches played in the truncated 2019-20 season.
